| Channel | SNS |
| Scope | From SNS marketing strategy through execution |
To grow membership, we designed who we speak to, and what we deliver, first. Then we kept posting on the SNS where those people actually are. Weekdays, every day. In six months, the membership target.
Marketing strategy
| Strategy | Detail |
|---|---|
| Who / What | Design who we speak to, and what we deliver, first |
| How | Keep publishing and building relationship with that persona on SNS |
| Focus | Choose the SNS where the target actually is. Keep publishing the owner’s intent |
Strategy and execution, both. Who / What first. How is SNS only. Posts are not a spec loop. Information that person needs, and language that keeps a relationship.
Channel choice is not follower count. The place the people you want are actually in. Put the owner’s intent there, without gaps. The voice is the owner’s, not the operator’s.
Weekdays, every day. Gaps break the relationship. Post daily, because who we speak to and what we say is already locked. That is why the operation runs.
Marketing tactics
| Tactic | What we did |
|---|---|
| SNS writing | Turn the owner’s intent into posts, matched to the persona |
| SNS operations | Weekday daily posts. Publishing and relationship-building, kept going for six months |
Do not split writing from publishing. If it is written and not posted, membership does not move. If it is posted and aimed at the wrong person, it does not grow.
SNS writing
Persona first. What that person is stuck on now. What changes if they join. What the owner actually wants to deliver.
The material is the owner’s intent. Translated into the target’s language. Ideals alone sound fine. They rarely become a reason to join. Features alone do not become a reason to join a community either.
Posts written to the persona grew. What was in place first was not platform technique. Who we speak to, and what we say.
SNS operations
Weekday daily posts. The writing does not stop at one day. Publishing and relationship-building, on the same channel.
Six months later, the membership target. Not a one-off spike. Daily posting, with who and what held still.
SNS timing, and what to do next
Inside marketing as a whole, SNS is often a slow channel. Numbers do not show up immediately. Still, in this period, skipping it is a hard choice.
Every company is short on budget and people. When to start differs. Results take time, so sooner is better. Then settle in. Three to six months of steady work, building relationship with the people you are already connected to on SNS.
There are exceptions. TikTok with cosmetics or fashion, where the fit is unusually strong. If it is the kind of thing that sells clothes on TikTok Shop, results can show up soon after opening. Most services are not that.
So when to put weight on SNS is worth asking a marketer who can see the whole picture.
